INTRODUCTION

 

NDISDA is Australia's national professional network and peak body supporting the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), complex housing and disability sectors.

Our role is to strengthen collaboration across disability, health, housing and community services by providing national leadership, education, industry intelligence and professional engagement that improves outcomes for people with disability.

NDISDA brings together a validated national network of reputable SDA providers, SIL providers, specialist support organisations, allied health professionals and community partners, ensuring the sector remains informed, connected and responsive to emerging policy, regulatory reform and best practice.

Hospital to Home & Complex Systems Coordination

Through the NDISDA Hospital to Home Division, delivered in collaboration with the Impact Housing Strategic Alliance, we provide education, system navigation and cross-sector coordination that supports safer, more efficient transitions from hospital into appropriate housing and disability supports.

​

Our focus is not on direct service delivery.

Instead, we work alongside hospitals, health services and community organisations to strengthen understanding of disability housing pathways, improve multidisciplinary collaboration, and reduce the barriers that often delay hospital discharge.

By bringing together expertise across health, disability, housing and mental health, we help build more connected systems that support participant choice, improve discharge planning and create sustainable long-term housing outcomes.
